We want you to know that many of our wooden products are manufactured from the  rubberwood tree.  This special tree is grown for its sap, which is used to produce rubber.  Historically the trees have been cut down and burned at the end of their productive life.  Recently, however, the beautiful hardwood from these trees has been redirected and recycled into many wonderful uses.  This wood has been chosen to create many of the fine products, in particular – Handy Starter Set, Hardwood Unit Blocks and Unit Blocks Marble Run of the Guidecraft Product Line.  We are please to bring you a line of Environmentally Friendly Wood Toy Products.
